Usage of Speed Profiles (TomTom) in ViaStat not in conflict with the Dutch Data Protection Act	17 January 2012
Pursuant to Article 60 of the Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens (Wbp) [Dutch Personal Data Protection Act], the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Dutch DPA) [College bescherming persoonsgegevens (Cbp)] has initiated an official investigation into the processing of personal data with regard to TomTom devices made by TomTom N.V. (TomTom). In this concluded investigation is underlined that TomTom’s data sharing, int.al Speed Profiles, and other data to third parties , for example VIA.nl , does not constitute a violation of Dutch privacy law.  More
